Maserati's First EV: Grecale Folgore
Maserati's first electric vehicle, the Grecale Folgore, offers a unique brand of excitement, despite lacking the aural appeal of its turbocharged counterparts.
Initially, Maserati planned to become an EVs-only brand by 2028, but those plans were shelved. Since then, the company has been actively developing its range, including the Grecale, its sole SUV since the Levante was discontinued 18 months ago.
The Grecale range, launched in 2022, has undergone several tweaks and additions, including four- and six-cylinder variants, as well as Grecale, Modena, and Trofeo trims. The electric Folgore variant offers the most power and torque, positioning it near the top of the line-up, with a correspondingly high price point.
