I often use my runs as a way to clear my mind and forget about responsibilities, listening to a podcast while I'm out.

One particular experience taught me a valuable lesson: stopping can sometimes make the run better. During a lunch run in late May, I encountered a turtle crossing the road and came to a complete stop.

Sometimes stopping makes the run better.

I safely moved the turtle to the other side of the road, taking a brief break from my run. This experience showed me that pausing can be a great reset, even on long days.
