DPD has resolved a pay dispute with its self-employed drivers after meetings with driver representatives.
A group of franchised drivers had stopped work on Tuesday to protest proposed reductions to rates paid for small parcel deliveries.
Following a meeting with drivers’ representatives, an agreement on a way forward was reached, meaning drivers that chose not to work returned on Wednesday.
DPD did not comment on whether the agreement is temporary ahead of planned rate changes in January.
