Illawarra Hawks' Coach Denies 'False' Report
Tyler Harvey led the Hawks to a significant win, but head coach Justin Tatum focused on addressing a report about departed import JaQuori McLaughlin.
The Hawks and McLaughlin parted ways mutually on Friday, prior to the team's 116-89 win over the Brisbane Bullets at WIN Entertainment Centre.
The report was false, and that young man was nothing but a pleasure for our organisation and in our locker room, on and off the court.
A report by Code Sports claimed McLaughlin's departure was due to being a "cancer" in the locker room, which Tatum slammed as false.
Tatum emphasized that McLaughlin was a positive presence in the team.
