The Big South Conference announced that UNC Asheville’s Toyaz Solomon has been named the Preseason Player of the Year.
Solomon was the only Bulldog to start all 32 games last season, serving as one of UNC Asheville's most consistent and impactful performers.
Within the Big South, Solomon finished sixth in scoring, fifth in rebounding, and first in blocked shots.
Solomon delivered career-best outings throughout the year.
