Columbia Basin Cross Country Teams Compete in Invitationals
Cross Country teams from around the Columbia Basin had a busy weekend, with several teams participating in the Max Jensen Invitational and the Nike Hole in the Wall Invitational.
- Lind-Ritzville, Othello, and Wahluke attended the Max Jensen Invitational.
- Quincy attended the Nike Hole in the Wall Invitational.
- The Moses Lake Mavericks split their team between the two meets.
The Moses Lake Mavericks' boys and girls varsity teams both earned ninth place at the Nike Hole in the Wall Invitational.
Notable performances included Alejandro Mendoza from the Huskies, who finished the course with a time of 17:09.48, and Lane Christensen from the Mavs, who finished with a time of 16:38.3.
Other notable runners included Iris Gomez from the Huskies and Jonathan Sandoval, Max Jolley, Colton Lucero, Liam O’Shea, Liam Roseburg, and Noah Demchuk from the Mavs.
