Egyptian powerlifting queen Rehab Ahmed overcame a chest injury to win her fifth World Championships title at Cairo 2025.
Four months after recovering from a pectoralis major tear, Ahmed clinched the gold medal in the women’s up to 61kg category, her first title in this weight class and at home.
This medal is also her first since winning gold at the Paris 2024 tournament last August.
