Missouri residents may have noticed plow trucks on the roads as the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) conducted its annual winter weather drill to prepare for the upcoming snowy conditions.
The exercise involved nearly 2,400 plow operators across the state, with employees practicing a simulated statewide forecast and activating emergency communications systems.
Amy Crawford, MoDOT area engineer, explained the focus of the training.
MoDOT is still hiring full-time and emergency positions for the winter season, with opportunities available at mocareers.com.
