Man Arrested in Pulaski County Drug Search

A man was taken into custody after an early morning narcotics raid in Pulaski County.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office searched a home in the 100 block of Cathy Lane in St, where they found suspect fentanyl, suspected "purple" fentanyl, loaded syringes, narcotics paraphernalia and other items used for drug distribution.

Fentanyl is an extremely deadly and destructive drug that fuels addiction and community decay

Deputies detained the suspect, Kenneth Mitchell, 53, at the scene and transported him to the Pulaski County Jail. He is being held on a 24-hour hold while charges pend for Drug Trafficking, Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
