Australian Startup Voxon Showcases 3D Holograms in Dubai
Voxon, an Australian company, is transforming industries with its real 3D hologram technology, from gaming to medicine.
Co-founded by Will Tamblyn and Gavin Smith, Voxon is showcasing its technology at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, featuring fully volumetric 3D displays.
"We were inspired by science fiction," said Tamblyn, Co-CEO of Voxon. "Every time creative people imagined the future of human interaction with devices, they came up with 3D volumetric hologram technology. After years of trying and failing, we finally have something that really does have that feel."
The company's journey began in 2009 as an experiment in Tamblyn's backyard shed, and has since developed a technology that projects digital imagery into open air, allowing people to view and interact with holograms without headsets or screens.
