Dartmouth Withholds Class of 2029 Profile
Dartmouth has not released the full Class of 2029 profile, amid changes in testing and affirmative action.
Historically, Dartmouth Admissions published data on racial and ethnic demographics since at least 2010. However, the College has rejected requests for this information for the Class of 2029.
In previous years, a "class profile" was published, including demographics such as geographic, gender, income, and racial and ethnic background. Last year, this information was released on September 16, 2024.
"We don’t have a comment on this at this point because we have not yet released any class profile information about the matriculated 29s,"
wrote College spokesperson Jana Barnello in an email to The Dartmouth on September 24.
While some data on the admitted Class of 2029's geographic and income backgrounds has been published, information on gender and racial and ethnic backgrounds is not available.
