Pope Leo XIV traveled to board the "Bel Espoir" sailboat, speaking to the crew about peacemaking.
The sailboat, meaning "beautiful hope", had spent eight months sailing to 30 Mediterranean ports, with rotating crews of 25 young adults from different countries and religions.
The world needs "signs, witness, impressions that give hope."
