Gov. DeSantis Appoints Adam Cervera to High School Athletic Association Board of Directors
Six months after naming him to the Broward County School Board, Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Becker & Poliakoff shareholder Adam Cervera to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Board of Directors.
I’m excited to help our student athletes reach their full potential, on and off the field.
The FHSAA Board of Directors is responsible for hearing appeals, setting budgets, enacting policies, and overseeing statewide athletic competitions. Cervera's appointment is pending Senate confirmation.
Cervera stated that he is "honored" to take on the added responsibility, believing in the power of sports to shape character and bring communities together.
