The No. 11 Cleveland team improved their regular season streak to 60 wins after defeating No. 21 Southeast Raleigh.
A medical emergency occurred during the game, causing a stoppage of over 30 minutes. Cleveland coach Scott Riley reported that Krisjon Clark, the player involved in the emergency, was in stable condition at the hospital.
"I was ready to walk away and finish this on Monday," Riley said. "They wanted to finish it tonight."
The emergency happened when Clark was hit by two defenders while attempting to catch a short pass with 5:39 left in the third quarter. Initially, Clark was not breathing, prompting the medical team to perform compressions. A defibrillator later detected a faint pulse, and Clark became more alert, even wanting to stand up before being taken to the hospital.
