Developer Successfully Ports NothingOS 4.0 to the Phone 1
A Turkish developer, Erkan, has successfully ported Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.0 to the Nothing Phone 1.
The Nothing Phone 1 has already received its three major OS upgrades as promised by the brand. However, Carl Pei confirmed the company is working on a special “program” for Phone 1 users.
Speculation varies, with some expecting the full Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.0, while others believe it will introduce select new features.
This custom ROM is based on an early beta build, as Nothing hasn’t released the stable version of Nothing OS 4.0 yet.
