Juventus Suffers First Defeat of the Season
Juventus faced their first defeat of the season at the hands of an energetic Como side, backed by the Sinigaglia crowd.
Due to numerous absentees, coach Igor Tudor shifted from his preferred 3-4-2-1 formation to a 4-3-3 lineup. This new lineup featured Jonathan David at the forefront, with Kenan Yildiz and Francisco Conceicao on the wings. Manuel Locatelli played between Teun Koopmeiners and Khephren Thuram in midfield.
Nico Paz played a short corner kick, and following a give-and-go with Lucas Da Cunha, he sent a lovely inswinger to the back post that found Marc-Oliver Kempf.
The Bianconeri had a disastrous start, trailing after just three minutes. German defender Marc-Oliver Kempf escaped Pierre Kalulu to score, leaving Michele Di Gregorio with no chance.
