Car Fire in Ashton-on-Ribble
A car fire broke out in Queensway, Ashton-on-Ribble, on Saturday, 18 October, at around 4pm.
According to eyewitnesses, the car, believed to be a Ford Focus, was driven into the street while smoking to prevent the fire from spreading to a nearby house.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene shortly after 4pm. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the fire.
