Hundreds of Kenworths have been recalled PACCAR

Kenworth Truck Recall Notice

PACCAR Australia has issued a recall notice for 349 units of all Kenworth truck models, manufactured between 2019 and 2025.

The recall is due to a manufacturing issue, where the fitting connecting the delivery hoses to the lift axle spring brake may not have been tightened to sufficient torque, potentially causing it to become loose and leading to unintended brake application while driving.

This could increase the risk of an accident, resulting in injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted and asked to book an appointment with their preferred Kenworth dealership to have the work carried out free of charge.
