Robeson County to Proceed with Financing for Health Department and Technical School
The Robeson County Board of Commissioners has voted to proceed with installment financing for the construction of a new Health Department and a new technical school.
This hearing is simply for the board to approve the county moving forward with filing the application with the (Local Government Commission) to approve this type of financing.
According to County Attorney Rob Davis, this measure is a procedural step before presenting financing plans to the LGC. County Manager Kellie Blue clarified that it was not the approval of contracts for the projects.
