Lloyds Living, the Build To Rent element of Lloyds Banking Group, has appointed a new chief executive with a background in property and investment.
Matt Burgess, who has been acting CEO since Andy Hutchinson stepped down, is now the permanent CEO. Prior to joining Lloyds in 2021, Burgess was a director at JLL, providing commercial advice to financial institutions on real estate strategies.
He also spent over 10 years at HSBC in investment-focused roles and co-founded a property technology start-up.
