Acadia's Adams earns AUS community service award
The Atlantic University Sport women's soccer conference named its major award winners on Oct. 22. Acadia Axewomen soccer player Leah Adams was recognized for her service to the community.
Adams, a fifth-year defender from Truro, was named the Atlantic University Sport’s student-athlete community service award winner.
“Adams has made an extraordinary impact on the Acadia and Wolfville communities through her extensive volunteerism and leadership,”
Her community service includes programs such as KinderSkills, AWAKE, and SMILE, which mentor children and youth of all abilities through inclusive physical activity and sport.
