The Japan CCUS Summit, focused on carbon capture, utilisation and storage, was attended by major oil and gas firms and government officials from various countries, including the UK, Canada, and Southeast Asian nations.
- The summit was followed by a meeting of energy ministers from Japan, Australia, and nine Southeast Asian countries in Kuala Lumpur under the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC) initiative.
