Commercial Fridge Maker Expands in Chesterfield
Dover Food Retail, operating through its brands Hillphoenix and Anthony, has expanded its presence in Chesterfield, now employing 1,100 local employees and operating three sizable facilities.
Earlier this year, the company added a 500,000-square-foot warehouse as part of a $25 million expansion project, which included relocating manufacturing operations from California to Chesterfield.
The company has shifted its expansion efforts to Chesterfield County after cooling on California.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the growth of Dover's existing manufacturing operations and the opening of the new warehouse, located at 16401 Walthall Industrial Parkway.
County supervisors approved local incentives to match a state grant, supporting the project.
