Dave Roberts Sends Clear Message to Young Outfielder
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has sent a clear message to his young outfielder ahead of the World Series.
The Dodgers have one of the oldest rosters in baseball, but 24-year-old Andy Pages is one of their starting outfielders. Despite his youth, Pages' inexperience has been apparent throughout the postseason.
In the National League Championship Series, Pages hit .182 against the Milwaukee Brewers' pitching staff, and his batting average was worse in the Wild Card Series and NL Division Series.
"Yeah, we were just talking about some approach stuff at the bat,"
Manager Dave Roberts said in a media address, referring to a long conversation he had with Pages during the team's workout.
