Teacher Development Officers to Withdraw from Academic Activities
The All-Island School Teacher Development Officers' Association has announced that its members will withdraw from academic activities starting next Monday, October 27.
According to the Association's Secretary, Viraj Manaranga, despite serving as teachers for over six years, Teacher Development Officers have not been invited to participate in the current teacher training programs under the education reform proposals.
They have been neglected, despite being dedicated to bringing many achievements to school children.
