New Podcast Shares Voices of Tree of Life Shooting Victims

A new podcast, "October 27th Podcast," is releasing its first six episodes, featuring local voices from Western Pennsylvania reflecting on the 2018 attack at the Tree of Life synagogue.

The podcast is based on a collection of over 100 interviews, sourced from 2019 to 2021, and adapted from the "Meanings of October 27th" oral history project, co-created by Jewish oral historians Aliza Becker and Noah Schoen.

The attack, which occurred on October 27, 2018, during a Shabbat service, resulted in the deaths of 11 Jewish worshippers.

No one forgets the stories of those impacted by the attack.

The podcast aims to keep the memories and stories of those impacted alive.
