Movie Review: ‘Bugonia’
The Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos reunites with Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons for a remake of a Korean movie about a conspiracy theorist convinced of an alien threat.
Emma Stone stars as Michelle in ‘Bugonia’, a Focus Features release, while Jesse Plemons plays Teddy, a man convinced that extraterrestrials from Andromeda have been destroying the human race and kidnaps a woman he believes is one of the aliens.
The movie’s cast also includes Alicia Silverstone, Marc T. Lewis, and Stavros Halkias.
‘Bugonia’ is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and will be released in theaters on October 31st.
