Clemency: Onoh Prays Tinubu to Reverse Pardon
Onoh has faulted the pardon granted to some convicts by President Bola Tinubu through the recommendations of the Presidential Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy.
President Tinubu granted 175 individuals presidential pardon and clemency, including drug convicts, foreigners, and capital offenders such as Maryam Sanda.
Onoh, President Tinubu's spokesman in the South East, is calling for the reversal of the pardon, particularly for Maryam Sanda, who was convicted of culpable homicide punishable by death for stabbing her husband to death.
