Sault's Fall Classic Becoming a Fixture on International Curling Calendar
The Henderson Metal Fall Classic, in its third year, has become a recognized stop on the international curling circuit, drawing top-tier international teams and highlighting Northern Ontario talent.
Hosted at the YNCU Curling Centre, this year's event features 18 teams, including Team Dunstone and Team Epping, despite being down from last year's 28 entries due to a crowded global curling calendar.
The smaller draw reflects an unusually crowded global curling calendar, with pre-trials, the Pan Continental Championships, and Olympic qualification events all taking place this fall.
Tournament organizers attribute the event's growth to its ability to attract strong teams from around the world.
