Scottish Cup Draw: Elgin City's Goal Hero Looks Forward to Potential Match
Elgin City has made it to the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup third round draw after overcoming Deveronvale with a 90th-minute winner by Ryan Sargent.
Defender Jack Murray, who gave ten-man City the lead, shared his thoughts on the potential draw, including a possible match against his former club Buckie Thistle.
"I saw that Lewis is wanting to play us," Murray said. "Yeah, that would be a good game for us, but there's a few other tricky games that could turn out to be.
Buckie Thistle's manager Lewis Mackinnon had expressed interest in a home draw against Elgin City if they made it past Deveronvale.
The draw could lead to exciting matches for north sides, with various possibilities still on the table.
