Yuki Tsunoda Hit with F1 Embarrassment

Yuki Tsunoda faced a bitter disappointment before the Mexican Grand Prix after breaking down on track during an iconic show run.

Tsunoda paid homage to engine partner Honda in their final Mexican GP with the team, driving the Honda RA272, a classic car from Honda's F1 history.

The Honda RA272 was the first Honda car to win a F1 race at the 1965 Mexican GP with driver Richie Ginther leading every lap, and Tsunoda drove it in a classy all-white livery with a red circle to represent the Japanese flag.

As Tsunoda piloted the car around the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, the sound of the V12 engine roared for the fans, but he was unable to complete a full lap before the car slowed down and came to a standstill on track.

The marshals rushed to the scene after the 1965 Honda broke down.
