USC's Turning Point chapter has reported a rise in membership following the death of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA.
The new members include both USC students and non-student members, who have joined the organization in the wake of Kirk's passing.
According to its Garnet Gate page, USC Turning Point focuses on conservative political activism on college campuses and has been active through tabling and bringing conservative guest speakers to campus.
The organization also has a sizable social media following, including a 15,000-follower Instagram page.
Sadie Slusher, a Columbia resident, said she was heartbroken when she learned of Charlie Kirk's death and felt a desire to have her voice heard, which led her to join USC's Turning Point chapter.
Charlie Kirk was killed during an event at Utah Valley University in September, where he had traveled to hold live debates as part of his efforts to promote conservative political activism on college campuses.
