A new report by FMinus reveals a conflict of interest in Canadian lobbying, where environmental organizations and big polluters share the same lobbyists.
Major Canadian environmental organizations and civil society groups are using lobbyists who also represent Canada's biggest polluters, according to a report by FMinus, an American accountability monitor.
“As the climate crisis gets worse for Canadians, there’s a hidden cause,”
said James Browning, founder and executive director of FMinus. The report was prepared with Environmental Defence, Canada's leading environmental advocacy organization, and re•generation, a youth climate advocacy organization.
