Early this morning, you may notice some light drizzle and damp roads across the region as faint showers continue to move through. Temperatures are sitting in the low 50s and will only climb slightly today, with a high near 58 degrees — below average for this time of year.
Cloud cover will be the main reason temperatures stay cool. Drizzle could linger through lunchtime, followed by a brief dry stretch, before scattered showers return this evening.
Monday won’t be a washout, but it will stay damp and gray through much of the day. Tuesday morning looks to bring the best chance for widespread rain, especially during the morning commute, before showers become more scattered by the afternoon.
As this system moves through, it’ll pull in cooler air for the middle of the week.
