Helping People Experiencing Homelessness

As colder weather approaches, local organizations are coming together to educate residents about supporting people without shelter and collecting donations of warm clothing and funds for boots.

The Compassionate Committee for the Homeless in North Bay has partnered with Trinity United Church to offer the fourth annual information session entitled “What you need to know about helping people who are experiencing homelessness”.

Frontline organizations will be attending the event, which takes place on Monday, October 27, at Trinity United Church, 111 McIntyre Street East, in the Sanctuary. Doors open at 6:30.

"You will learn from frontline organizations how they support people experiencing homelessness in North Bay, what they observe, and have an opportunity to ask questions,"

says a news release.
