Road Reconstruction near Maxville Nears Completion

Reconstruction of County Road 22 near Maxville is expected to be finished soon, according to the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry (SD & G).

A report from the Transportation Services Department, presented to the SD & G counties council on October 20, indicates significant progress was made during late summer and into the fall.

The remaining work is scheduled to be completed by the end of October, despite minor delays due to weather and unexpected soil conditions, resulting in a cost overrun of approximately $690,000.

The project is nearing its end, with the final touches to be completed soon.
