Goalkeeper Sustains Double Fracture as Team Faces Tough Run of Matches
Forres Mechanics will face a tough run of games without their star goalkeeper Sean McCarthy, who sustained a double fracture of his finger in the North Cup final triumph over Clachnacuddin.
The team's first fixture since their trophy win is against the same opponents, Clachnacuddin, in a league match in Inverness. Manager Steven MacDonald hopes the club's first silverware success in 14 years can give his young squad some belief.
“Obviously Clach will be looking for some sort of revenge, if that's the right word,”
