The Trump administration has started to purge Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials in five major U.S. cities.
According to sources, ICE leaders in Denver, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and San Diego were removed from their positions and reassigned within the federal agency.
The Department of Homeland Security is overhauling its mass deportation operation to increase arrests and boost its deportation campaign.
The five cities are believed to be the first of more to come across ICE’s 24 field offices nationwide.
