Argentina's Economic Reforms After Midterm Success
Argentine President Javier Milei's party, Liberty Advances, outperformed expectations in midterm elections, winning 41 percent of the vote nationwide.
Milei's party increased its seats in both houses of Congress, growing from 37 to 92 seats in the lower house and from six to 21 in the upper house.
With expanded benches, Milei has increased his leverage to pass his reform agenda, which includes labor and tax reforms as well as a fresh budget.
He needed a win and he got it.
