Flipkart's fintech arm Super.money has teamed up with Kotak811 to revolutionize India's free UPI payments. The partnership aims to issue around 2 million fixed-deposit-backed credit cards in the next 12 months.
The goal is to bundle UPI payments, savings, and secured credit into a single account, turning usage into profit.
The partnership expects to issue around 5 million secured credit cards within 2 years, with roughly 60 percent going to first-time borrowers.
Super.money, which serves 10 million active users, expects the Kotak alliance to contribute around 10 percent of its revenue next year. According to chief executive Prakash Sikaria, the company is working towards profitability by 2026.
