Coyote Attacks Dog in Pinecrest, Family Warns Pet Owners
A surveillance video captured a coyote attacking a family's dog in Pinecrest, prompting the family to warn other pet owners to be cautious.
The video shows the family's 10-year-old French bulldog, Lola, being charged by a coyote in the backyard on Tuesday afternoon.
"She comes here, he creeps up, and he runs at her," said Vicente. "She flips upside down and then we made a noise and he let her go, he was probably going to drag her back there,"
said Daniella, the dog's owner. Daniella believes that if she and her boyfriend hadn't intervened, the coyote might have taken Lola.
"If we weren’t here, he probably would have taken her; that’s what I think,"
said Daniella. The family is now warning other pet owners to be vigilant when taking their pets outside.
