James Franklin's era at Penn State has come to an end after nearly 12 seasons and two disastrous losses.

Franklin had brought the Nittany Lions back to relevance, winning the 2016 Big Ten Championship and coming close to the national title game less than 12 months ago.

Expectations had never been higher for Franklin and Penn State, leading into the White Out game against Oregon.

However, the team plateaued, and it was time for a separation. Some players, including linebacker Tony Rojas, took to social media to react to the news.
