Early voting began for New York City’s mayoral election and will remain open through November 5th.
The most recent Fox News poll shows democratic socialist Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani leading the race at 52%, with former Governor Andrew Cuomo and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa behind at 28% and 14%, respectively.
Several influential figures have called on Sliwa to suspend his campaign, believing that only Cuomo can stop the perceived radical change that a Mamdani mayoralty might bring.
