Taylor Swift surprise released the unplugged 'The Fate of Ophelia (Alone in My Tower)' acoustic version of her chart-topping song.
The stripped-back take on the "Life of a Showgirl" single features Swift's strumming and gauzy layers of her vocals, stripping away the original's dance pop beat and layers of keyboards, Omnichord, piano, and pedal steel.
The acoustic version is available for a limited time as a single CD with an instrumental version and the acoustic take.
Taylor Swift is stripping things all the way back this year.
The release comes as a surprise, with the pop juggernaut unveiling the new version on Thursday night.
