Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been transferred to a federal prison in New Jersey to begin serving his four-year sentence.
The 55-year-old hip-hop mogul is eligible for release in 2028 and will be housed at FCI Fort Dix.
Combs’ lawyers asked judge Arun Subramanian to recommend that the Bureau of Prisons send their client to Fort Dix, “in order to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts.
Combs was sentenced to four years and two months in prison for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
A spokeswoman for the Bureau of Prisons confirmed the transfer on October 30.
