Kathy Scheibel to Retire After More Than 40 Years of Dedicated Service
A retirement reception will be held for Scheibel from 3-5 p.m. on the 6th, at the new offices for the Division of Research & Innovation, 2231 W.
The University of Arkansas celebrates the remarkable career of Kathy Scheibel, who will retire after more than four decades of service.
Scheibel began her journey on campus in 1984 as a secretary/accountant in the Department of Entomology.
In 1988, she joined Research & Sponsored Programs as a typist and steadily advanced to her current role as Senior Advisor in Sponsored Programs Administration.
Her contributions have been recognized throughout her tenure.

- Served on key university committees, including:
- Transit & Parking Appeals Committee (Member, 1993-95; Chair, 1995-96)
- Catastrophic Leave Committee (Member, 1996-99; Chair, 1997-98; Secretary, 1998-99)
