Florida Atlantic men's basketball team secured their first win of the season against Boston College on Monday night, with an 83-78 overtime victory.
Guard Yohann Sissoko was the hero, hitting a game-saving three-pointer to seal the win in front of a sold-out crowd at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.
"I don't know that this [game] was pretty, maybe that's just part of it, but what our guys did show is some real fight and resolve," said head coach John Jakus.
The team's win followed a 42-point victory against Florida Tech on Thursday, with guard Devin Vanterpool scoring 24 points.
The win marked the third time a power conference opponent has played at "The Elly" in four years.
