UVSS Annual General Meeting
The University of Victoria Student Society (UVSS) held its annual general meeting on October 28, 2025.
The meeting saw a significant turnout, exceeding the required quorum of 112 students, with a peak attendance of 264 students.
Meeting Agenda and Outcomes
The agenda included five special resolutions and two financial motions, but many were voted down, resulting in the UVSS having no President, anti-racism policy, or decolonization policy.
The UVSS received criticism during the question period for technical issues during the land acknowledgment, which resulted in part of the video being played without audio.
