Residents and councillors in Romsey have expressed strong opposition to a proposal for building up to 300 new homes on the edge of the town.
Gleeson Land, a company that promotes land to developers for projects, presented its plans to Romsey Town Council's planning committee on October 9.
"This is just unworkable"
Nick Keeley, a planning manager for Gleeson Land, outlined the main proposal, which includes 40% affordable housing and homes designed to suit people at all stages of life.
