A new Natural Gas Compression Station of DESFA was inaugurated in the industrial area of Komotini, north-eastern Greece.
The inauguration was carried out by Deputy Environment and Energy Minister Nikolaos Tsafos and the CEO of DESFA, Maria Rita Galli.
The investment is valued at 134 million euros and is notable for being the first Compression Station in Greece to operate using electric power.
